Robert Duff, Ph.D. is a clinical psychologist and author providing in-person services to individuals in Ventura or Santa Barbara county and online services to individuals anywhere in California. He currently provides psychotherapy within his own private practice and neuropsychological assessment through Insight Neuropsychology.

As a graduate of the University of California Santa Barbara clinical, counseling, and school psychology program, Dr. Duff works with a wide variety of clients ranging from adolescent to older adult. As a clinical neuropsychologist, Dr. Duff provides comprehensive assessments to investigate changes in thinking abilities due to aging, brain injuries, strokes, or other neurological concerns. He also specializes in psychotherapy with individuals struggling with anxiety, depression, bipolar, or difficult life transitions. In all of his work, Dr. Duff maintains an open, empathetic attitude while focusing on identifying solutions and ways to take immediate action.

Aside from clinical work, Dr. Duff is also an accomplished author and "influencer". He has written a best-selling series of comedic self-help books, called "Hardcore Self Help" and has a weekly podcast where he answers listener mental health questions. Combining his down-to-earth attitude and neuropsychology expertise, he also recently co-authored a family guide to dementia conditions titled "Does My Mom Have Dementia?" Dr. Duff frequently gives talks in the community and contributes to articles in publications such as New York Times and Teen Vogue.

When not working, Dr. Duff enjoys spending time with his wife and kids. You can usually find him having a glass of wine and playing video games on the weekend.
